Where/How can I recycle my Latex Paint?

The Paint Disposal Problem:

Many States and Counties consider latex paint to be Hazardous Material and its improper disposal comes with very steep fines.

Many Counties host Hazardous Waste "Round-Ups" a few times a year in specified mobile locations. They are not free. In fact, most cost taxpayers several thousand dollars in excess of the fees you pay at the site and much of the paint is still not recycled. It goes straight to your local Hazardous Material Landfill.

The Paint Recycling Solution:

Not only does GreenSheen recycle the paint we collect, we also recycle the plastic and metal cans and pails it comes out of. We use the products we gather to produce our quality latex paint that is available in a wide range of designer inspired colors, great for use inside and out and available at a fraction of the cost of virgin content paints.

We accept latex paint (not oil based or any other chemical based) that is in liquid form and in its original packaging.

  •   • DO NOT CONSOLIDATE PARTIALLY FULL CANS OF PAINT.
  •   • WE COLLECT PAINT BY VOLUME, NOT CONTAINER.
  •   • THERE IS NO INCENTIVE TO CONSOLIDATE PARTIALLY FULL CANS.
  •   • WE WANT THE PAINT IN ITS ORIGINAL CONTAINERS SO WE CAN MORE ACCURATELY IDENTIFY IT.

NOTE: THE UNAUTHORIZED DISPOSAL OF PAINT AT ANY FACILITY IS A FEDERAL OFFENSE AND IS PUNISHABLE BY LAW!    DO NOT LEAVE PAINT AT OUR FACILITY UNLESS AUTHORIZED TO DO SO!
